Two legal contracts. Both documents are intended to uphold morality and values. These hold common truths and provide fundamental structure for families and individuals.
Uberrimae fidei is the Latin phrase for UTMOST GOOD FAITH. It is a legal doctrine primarily used in insurance contracts, requiring all parties to act with complete honesty and transparency. Both parties – the insurer and the insured – should disclose relevant details to ensure fairness and transparency.
This principle of utmost good faith should also be practiced in marriage. Before, during, and after marriage… till death do us part.
If I’m going to keep one contract, I’ll choose insurance. If I’m going to dissolve one contract, I’ll make sure it will be the marriage contract.
