PRO6 Welcomes “Beyond the Call of Duty” Film Team in Promotional Courtesy Visit
ILOILO CITY – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) proudly welcomed the director, co-director, and select cast members of the upcoming patriotic action-drama film “Beyond the Call of Duty” during a promotional courtesy visit on July 1, 2025.
The delegation was led by Director Jose “JR” Olinares and Co-Director Billy Oyanib, joined by cast members Robert Vincent Sy, Lance Lucido, and Tyke Sanchez. They were warmly received by PCOL VICTORINO E ROMANILLOS JR, Chief of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division, along with PRO6 officers and personnel.
During the visit, the film team presented the official trailer of “Beyond the Call of Duty”, an action-packed tribute to the bravery and heroism of the Philippine National Police. The film seeks to portray real-life stories of courage, sacrifice, and service — highlighting the deeper realities of police work beyond the badge.
PBGEN JOSEFINO D LIGAN, Regional Director of PRO6, also shared the unit’s core programs and milestones, emphasizing its commitment to modernization, professional development, and community engagement.
A key highlight of the event was a live simulation of PRO6’s 5-minute police response — a program aligned with the directive of Chief PNP, POLICE GENERAL NICOLAS D TORRE III, promoting swift and responsive police action. The simulation exercises were completed in less than five minutes, showcasing the unit’s operational capability and readiness.
In his message, PBGEN LIGAN expressed his appreciation to the filmmakers for honoring the law enforcement profession:
“This film is a powerful reminder of what it means to serve with integrity, courage, and compassion. By telling the stories of our police officers, you are also helping bridge the gap between the uniform and the community. We thank you for honoring our profession through this medium.”
Following the demonstration, PBGEN LIGAN also highlighted the two other key thrusts of the PNP leadership: unity and morale within the ranks, and accountability and modernization – core values that continue to guide the transformation of the Philippine National Police.
