Warm Welcome for Miss Eco-International Kathleen Paton

Kathleen Paton, warmly welcomed by kababayans in Nabas hometown. Kathleen Paton, the recently crowned Miss Eco International was warmly welcomed by family, friends and her kababayans through a homecoming party in her hometown of Laserna, Nabas, Aklan today ,May 18, 2022.

Paton arrived last May 15, 2022 in Caticlan and went straight to the Island of Boracay for a much deserved vacation with her partner and also to attend an event for Miss World-Philippines.

“It’s very nostalgic for me, of course. having grown up in Boracay, Nabas, Laserna. It’s nothing different for me because I always come here every year. i grew up here for 9 years”, Paton remarked in an interview with  energy FM Kalibo.

When asked about how she feels now that she’s back at home. Currently Paton wants to pursue an advocacy against water pollution and support literacy by donating not only the books from her personal library in Laserna, Nabas but she also plans to order more books for the Aeta Community in Boracay and in

Malindog. According to her, the achievement of winning Miss Eco International has had a big impact on her life and that she has chosen to welcome every opportunity coming her way.\

” I can’t be happier with this win, not just for me but for all the Aklanons who were there for me from the very beginning” she added.
