Iloilo City- The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) successfully kicked off the first leg of the Harnessing the Power of the Digital Economy – Digital Resources and Innovation for Vibrant Enterprises (HPDE-DRIVE) Training of Mentors on September 15, 2026, in Iloilo City, bringing together local chamber leaders and representatives from across the Visayas.
The training brought together 26 participants and observers from PCCI-Iloilo, PCCI Capiz-Halaran, Metro Bacolod CCI, PCCI-Antique, Guimaras CCI, and Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center (NOLITC), who took part in a practical session focused on strengthening their digital skills and capacity to guide MSMEs in their digital transformation journey.
The session featured an engaging masterclass led by Frei Sangil of Layertech Software Labs, with opening remarks from CIPE Country Director for the Asia Regional Office in the Philippines, Ryan Patrick Evangelista. The gathering was hosted by PCCI Region 6 Regional Governor Engr. Fullbert Woo, with closing remarks from PCCI Area Vice President for Visayas, Atty. Jobert Peรฑaflorida, and facilitated by CIPE HPDE-DRIVE Program Coordinator Alliza Reboza.
HPDE-DRIVE is implemented by PCCI in partnership with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) to equip local chambers with digital tools and capabilities to better support MSMEs.
