Love the Philippines!

The Campaign of “Is More Fun In The Philippines” was very successful, it was able to propagate to the world that the Philippines is a Fun Destination. However, “Fun” is an experience.

Tourists that visit the Philippines experienced the Fun but are they coming back again or they will explore another country?

It takes LOVE to explore, it takes LOVE to accept, it takes LOVE to serve and it takes LOVE to stay. When you are in love, you will explore more of the country and not just a destination.

Being in Boracay, I surely promote the Island but I will always encourage Tourists to explore the other parts of the country and it will surely take love for them to come back again.

There are indeed some bad experiences incurred with the airlines, traffic, and airports but it akes love to accept. Is part of the experience of exploring a country and when you are in love, you simply accept it. I have seen many people having fun and disregarding the environment and people. When you are in love, you will serve the environment by taking good care of it and we can have various projects about protecting the environment but if we are not motivated by love for the country and the people, any projects will not have any fruitful results.

I have also seen people serving with a negative attitude, trying to exploit others at all cost but if they are motivated by love. They will surely not do anything that will diminished the reputation of the country and they will surely serve with Love.

Many of friends asked me how and why I stay in the Philippines for more than 20yrs and
the answer was simply; I LOVE THE PHILIPPINES. It takes love to stay in spite of the many different mishaps I had experienced in the country. When you are in love, you will choose to stay or even come back again. Why not spread love to the Tourists? They will not visit the Philippines just for the fun and experience but they will revisit again and again because of their Love For The Philippines.

I sincerely hope the people will put aside political colors and come together to spread love for the country and support the new slogan of the Department of Tourism; LOVE THE PHILIPPINES.

When Tourists are able to experience the Filipinos loving their own country, they will surely
come and explore, accept, serve and stay in the Philippines. Mabuhay Philippines!
