Dayang – De Leon Nuptials

Dr. Juan “Jed” Dayan, Jr. and Maria “Cesca” Canlas De Leon  will be united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony to be officiated by His Eminence Jose Fuerte Cardinal Advincul DD, on Friday, January 21, 2022.  at 1:oo pm.

The wedding will take place at the Manula Cathedral, Minor Basilica of the immaculate Concepcion in Intramuros, Manila.

Dayang is a career minister of the Department of Foreign Affairs. He is currently assigned as chief of mission in North Africa-covering Libya, Tunis, Alger and Niger– based at the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli, Libya. He previously served at the Philippine embassy in Prague, Czech Republic and Philippine Embassy in Seoul, South Korea.

Jed finished high school and Bachelor of Science in Management at San Beda University, Master in Business Administration at the Graduate Instittute of Peace Studies, Kyung Hoe University (scholar) in South Korea and Master in Public Administration at the University Oklahoma USA. He earned his Doctorate in Diplomacy at the Australian National University as an Austalian Lesdership Award scholar in 2011. He is the son of former mayor Juan P. Dayang at Kalibo, Aklan and the late Social Worker Ofelia Alfafara Enriquez of Cebu.

Ms De Leon, who is known as Cesca, graduated from Asumption-Antipolo; Bachelor of Science  in Management Engineering at the Ateneo de Manula University; and Master in Business Administration at the ESE Barcelona, Spain. She is the operating manager of her family business enterprise.

Cesca is theonly daugher of Jose Renasto P. De Leon and Carmen Amelita Canlas De Leon of Qezon City. Her late grandfather  was former Assembly man and Deputy Minister of Public Works Engr. Alber Canlas.
