Kalibo Sakeros Football Club Champs Year-End Futsal Tourney
BORACAY Island- Sports advocate Rylo ‘Starboy’ Tumbuko has commended the Kalibo Sakeros Football Club as the champion of this year-ender Futsal Tournament.
The event was held at Manocmanoc Elementary School in Boracay Island last December 28, 2024.
Aside from the Kalibo Sakero’s Football Club; the team Rylo Tumbukon won the first runner-up followed by the Boracay Football Club as the second runner-up.
“This tournament celebrated skill, teamwork, and passion for the beautiful game.A big shoutout to all the teams, organizers, and supporters who made this event a resounding success! Here’s to more thrilling tournaments in the years to come!” Tumbukon said in his Facebook post.
Futsal is a football-based sport played on a hardcourt like a basketball court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor football.
ย The champion received P5,000 cash; P3,000 for the first runner-up, and P1,000 for the second runner-up. Trophies and certificates will also be given to the winners.
