More Akeanon senior citizens receive their 3rd quarter social pension

Kalibo,Aklan-The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VI, through the Social Pension Program, successfully conducted social pension payouts in three municipalities in the Province of Aklan.

A total of PHP7,626,000 was released for eligible indigent senior citizens in the Municipality of Altavas, while PHP6,264,000.00 was distributed to qualified beneficiaries in the Municipality of Libacao
total of PHP6,525,000.00 in Municipality of Malinao and Total of PHP6,450,000.00 in Municipality of Makato.

The successful implementation of the payout was made possible through the collaboration of the Local Government Units, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Offices (MSWDOs), Municipal Treasurer’s Offices, and the Social Pension staff led by Project Development Officer I (PDOI) Alyssa Dario, and Edmond C. Montoya PDO I, Social Welfare Assistant (SWA) John Laster N. Taladtad, Dianne Christine V. Nicolas and Rosalyn T. Laurente and the other dedicated staff of Social Pension Program.
