New help center launch, Haresco welcomes Tingog Partylist in Aklan

TANGALAN, Aklan—Second District Congressman Teodorico Haresco Jr. lauds the ‘Tingog’ party list for opening up at least two action centers in the province of Aklan.

The centers were placed in Tangalan and in Malay, Aklan.

The launching was held Thursday noonJune 20, 2024  with guests Tingog Partylists Congresswoman Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and showbiz personality Karla Estrada. Estrada is the mother of showbiz sensation Daniel Padilla.

Romualdez said that the action center aimed to help Akeanons during financial crises.

“Among the services available in the two centers were maintenance medication, travel, burial, and hospitalization, among others. All Aklanons in need are welcome to make requests for financial assistance,” said Romualdez.

Romualdez is the wife of House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

The lady Romualdez also witnessed the giving of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Services (AICS) to hundredths of Akeanons at P5,000 each from the Department of Social Welfare and Development-Western Visayas. Some 1,316 farmers also received P5,000 each for unconditional cash assistance.

“I am thankful to the Tingog Partylist for coming to Aklan,” Haresco said.
