The phenomenal Jojo Ang

Jojo ‘Uswag’ Ang, as he is known to most, quickly became a household name in Western Visayas after USWAG Ilonggo Party-list earned a seat in the Congress in the 2022 Philippine Elections with Hon. James “Jojo” Ang as its Representative.

Jojo Ang was already a well-known figure in Iloilo for his formidable presence in the business world. However, his popularity soared across the Panay region not only because of his successful ventures but primarily due to his exceptional charisma and authenticity. He has a remarkable ability to recall the faces he has met, engage in meaningful conversations with people from all walks of life, and appreciate the value of personal connections, such as a warm handshake or an encouraging pat on the back.

These qualities mark him as a true public servant. Before his election, Jojo Ang was a trailblazer in the business industry. His innovative and modern ideas have been the cornerstones of significant projects nationwide. In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, he is a dedicated philanthropist, committed to helping the disadvantaged through medical and educational assistance, even in his private capacity.

His developmental mindset is perhaps why the USWAG Ilonggo Party-list focuses on implementing various infrastructure projects, such as constructing and rehabilitating roads and bridges, hospitals, municipal and barangay halls, multi-purpose covered courts, basketball courts, and barangay nutrition centers—vital facilities for progress.

For Jojo Ang, there are no limitations as long as the budget is allotted for his programs, projects, and activities such as distributing Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations and Medical Assistance to Indigent Patients. His industriousness and resourcefulness in securing funds and making projects happen truly benefit even the farthest communities.
