
Batan, Aklan- Raymond Sucgang, a chemist and a senior researcher at the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (PNRI-DOST) has unveiled his specially formulated disinfectant spray designed specifically for electronic gadgets.
“Its primary active ingredient is benzalkonium chloride, a well-known antimicrobial agent that effectively eliminates bacteria, viruses, and other harmful microorganisms. Unlike harsher disinfectants that may damage sensitive components, this formulation uses a mild hydroalcoholic base, ensuring it is both effective and gentle on your devices,”Sucgang who hailed from Poblacion, Batan Aklan said.
Sucgang said it is safe to use on LCD screens, phone and tablet casings, keyboards, remote controls, and other frequently handled tech surfaces, this disinfecting spray not only sanitizes but also helps maintain the condition and clarity of your gadget surfaces.
Also for daily use or routine maintenance, this product provides peace of mind in keeping your electronics clean without the risk of damage.
It is not immediately known when the product will be available for commercial launch.
