Malaynon teen emerging as a top model

MALAY, Aklan- A 12 years old teen from Barangay Caticlan, Malay Aklan is emerging as a top model after she won second runner-up during the local gala held at Robinsons Place in Roxas City.

Adrianna Nicolette Cooper was the official representative representing Malay town during the Jam’s Top Model Philippines Search held in Robinsons Mall-Roxas City.

Her red ball gown worn during the gala was made by a family friend Adriano Samar. Samar has helped several Aklanon beauty queens in both international and national beauty pageants. Her hair and make-up was created by Michael Estoque Oczon while her accessories was made by Sherreen Reynaldo of Banga, Aklan.

Unknown to many, Cooper was a proud LGBT member and currently working as a barangay secretary of Caticlan-Aklan. Cooper himself was a beauty queen having been crowned in various beauty pageants in the previous years. 

Adrianna’s win is important to Raffy as the pageant was held a few days after the Father’s Day.

Raffy, despite being a member of the LGBTQ is working very hard to become both father and mother to his two young children.
