Is it just in business? Eh, I also hear this in any endeavor in life. Career, lovelife, different walks of life.
The ones who say this? It’s either they want to push you to try harder or they just don’t want to be likely. Especially when the established said in the chosen career, watch closely the tone of voice and facial expression, that has a hidden agenda.
I’ve been working since 2013 in the service industry, but there’s only one thing I’m sure of. Unless the clients, customers, and the people around ties a cooperation with you, that’s the only time you can say that you are effective as a seller.
Kung pinipili at nilo-lookdown ang iba, well i don’t think self-mastery yan in good side. I am seeing you like a colleague, serving others to gain “tips” because they have money. Segregating other paying customer because of appearance, thinking, and capacity.
I still remember before, just chasing the qouta of a colleague because of incentives even though she is not the one selling she took the credits. I let it go, anyway. Why? Because I learned how to connect and truly serve a client, whether you are from the lowest to highest ranking of this society (they said). Why is there the lowest to highest, can’t we just balance?
-The reward that I need for a real purpose of a chosen career.
Peace and love.
