Tips in the service industry are a norm.
Kaya lang minsan instead of truly appreciative sa biyayang nakukuha, some tend to say, “Eto lang? Kulang pa pang-bili to nang… so on and so forth.”
Dito mo talaga malalaman what kind of attitude a person have when they express gratitude. Sabi nga di ba, ang pagiging grateful sa mga maliliit na bagay will lead you to unexpected and big things.
The story of this tip is that I actually did not use any spa services with her. She came two days ago, she asked kung pwede siyang gumamit ng toilet before ang departure nila. Maaga kasi ang check-out at late ang alis nila papuntang main island. I agreed, of course.
Since busy ako with my other client, hindi ko na siya naabutan. She just left this 100 rupees as her thank-you gift.
Nakakahiyang tanggapin ang mga ganito lalo pa if we helped according to our morals and values. Hindi dahil we expect them to give us something in return.
Abiding the morals and values of ourselves, yun ang masasabi kong definition of success.
Peace and love.
